How much does it cost?
$20 per student per course, the same price students pay on our site. No setup fee, no minimum order, seats do not expire. All sales are final.
Which courses can I buy seats for?
Class A, Class B, Class B to A upgrade, Passenger, School Bus and Hazmat theory. Each is a separate course with its own seats.
Does this cover behind-the-wheel training?
No. We deliver the theory portion of ELDT. Behind-the-wheel training stays with your school or a BTW provider registered on the TPR.
Who reports to the FMCSA TPR?
We do, for the theory portion, automatically when a student completes the course and passes every quiz with 80% or higher. You can see the TPR status for each student in your portal.
How do students get access?
You invite them by email from your portal. Each invite reserves a seat; the seat is used when the student accepts. Invites expire after 30 days if not accepted.
Can students who already have an account use a seat?
Yes. They accept the invite with their existing account. If they already own that course, no seat is used.
Do I have to wait for approval?
No. Your portal opens as soon as you sign up, and you can share your student link, print the flyer, buy seats and invite students right away. Only the free Partner listing on our CDL school directory is reviewed: it needs a confirmed email and your opt-in in Settings.
Can I get an invoice instead of paying by card?
Yes, email support@lowestcosteldt.com after you sign up; we add the seats manually once the invoice is paid.
